Humans + AI in organizations and intentionality

This week I will be giving the keynote at LinkedIn’s Workforce Transformation Series events in Sydney and Melbourne. In the course of preparing for the keynote I created a Levels of Humans + AI in Organizations framework (see below).

Leaders are beginning to understand the Humans + AI framing, but they need to understand the multiple layers it impacts, including especially the Humans + AI team structures and how it impacts learning.

Related to this definitely check out this week’s insightful conversation with Paula Goldman, Chief Ethical and Humane Use Officer at Salesforce, who digs into trust patterns and how we can be intentional in deploying AI with a human focus.

Be well!

💡Framework: Levels of Humans + AI in Organizations

Much of my work these days is in the transformation of organizations to Humans + AI. Perhaps more than anything else, this requires trust, across an array of different dimensions.

This simple framework maps some of the layers and dimensions of trust required to faciliate and accelerate AI adoption. Of course the next step is the journey of building trust across these dimensions, but the necessary first step is acknowledging and defining where trust needs to be built.

What is driving the massive fall in conscientiousness?

Financial Times’s John Burn Murdoch has shared data on changes in personality, highlighted by a massive fall in conscientiousness in younger people. He points the finger at digital distraction. But as both he and I underline, we have choice and can use these tools positively.

7 insights: Learning fuels Humans + AI collaboration

A University of Phoenix report on the role of GenAI corporate learning focuses on human-AI collaboration and how to accelerate it, identifying 7 key findings.

HR reimagined with Agentic AI

A new Deloitte report on HR Reimagined is framed around how AI is transforming HR, but many of the implications and issues can be mapped more generally across organizations and transformation.
