Ross Dawson newsletter becomes Amplifying Cognition!
Augmenting human thinking and decision-making for an accelerating world
“Technology should not aim to replace humans, but rather to augment human capabilities”
This newsletter evolves
The short version
This newsletter will merge with the Amplifying Cognition newsletter, which covers much of my work of these days.
Why
I have proven I can’t maintain two good newsletters at once. This newsletter has been terribly neglected over the last year. Thank you for signing when you did, no doubt a long time ago!
My weekly Amplifying Cognition newsletter is going well. It makes sense to merge this future-focused newsletter with it to share critical facets of our unfolding future.
What
The topic of Amplifying Cognition brings together my current primary themes:
Thriving on Overload, on improving individual cognition and creating massive value from unlimited information, the topic of my recent book.
Humans + AI, on the tools and skills to augment ourselves with AI and shape a technology-driven world with humans at the center.
These are intensely future-focused themes. At this critical juncture in human history we absolutely need to think better and make better decisions, individually and collectively.
Today we face incredible challenges, as well the opportunity to craft a positive future for humanity.
Amplifying our cognition will be necessary to navigate these incredible times.
The Amplifying Cognition with Ross Dawson newsletter will include relevant news, insights from podcast guests, practical guides, actionable advice, and more. We will work hard to create an email that you look forward to receiving!
When
You will receive the first weekly Amplifying Cognition newsletter at the end of this week. Feel free to unsubscribe if you don’t find it compelling!
Thank you!
Let me know if you have any thoughts on the transition or what you’d like to see in the newsletter.
Have a fabulous day!!! 😊
Ross
