💡Invitation: Join Humans + AI Explorers Community as a Pioneer member

Over the last two years Humans + AI Explorers Community has gradually grown to almost 800 members, with many world leading thinkers and doers in the space.

We are now launching properly into gear with a range of deep dive Exploration Spaces and more. Join by August 15 to become a Pioneer member with benefits including free access to all our resources and discussions for over 3 months.

💡Framework: Teminology for AI in organizations

How do we describe the role of AI in organizations? There are many terms being bandied about, “AI first” perhaps the most dominant, though it is beng used with various meanings, or often without any clarity around what it actually means.

In this framework I frame the core ideas for each of five terms, as well as some of the implications and issues that emerge from these framings. The language is nascent and evolving. But becoming clearer on the meaning of what we are saying is extremely useful.

An important complex systems view of AI

An important paper “Human-AI coevolution” by leaders including Albert-Laszlo Barabasi and Alex 'Sandy' Pentland brings together complex systems, network science, and computational social science. It provides deep insights into the vital role of feedback in human-AI systems and the implications.

AI to democratize sports performance

AI democratizes data-driven improvement in sports, previously limited to professionals with access to sophisticated sports labs. In an article this week on an AI golf app I was quoted extensively on the potential of AI to enhance sports performance of amateurs

The 21 companies leading the humanoid robot race

Morgan Stanley predicts there will be 1 billion humanoid robots by 2050 with industry revenue of $5 trillion. Here is an updated compilation of 21 of the most promising robotics companies including status overviews and videos.
