Executive digital twins, AI Agentic mesh, the difference between low and high AI maturity organizations, and more
“Our future is a race between the growing power of technology and the wisdom with which we use it.” — Stephen Hawking
Interacting with AI for capability development and growth
There is extensive discussion and debate on the potential for LLM use to negatively impact our cognition.
Our outcomes are significantly driven by our intent. In my Humans + AI Capability Spiral I suggest a range of ways we can apply and use AI in ways that amplify our capabilities and growth. We need to embed these both in the design of systems, and in how we use the tools.
I’ve been working hard on some exciting projects which will be announced soon, stay tuned!
Be well!

💡Framework: Executive Digital Twins
"Digital twins" of people can not only emulate them in video and audio, but also capture some part of their knowledge and perspectives.
The impact will be massive across many aspects of society. But it is particularly pointed for executives, as the demand for their time, attention, and insights is vastly greater than the availability.
This diagram maps out the concept, some of the high level implications, a few examples, an outline process for creating a digital twin, and the major software platforms being used to create them.

McKinsey’s “AI Agentic mesh”
A new report on AI agents in the enterprise from McKinsey shares some very interesting data on what companies are doing, and a well-fleshed framing of what they call the “AI Agentic mesh”.
The difference between high and low AI maturity organizations

A Gartner report on AI adoption looks at the differences between high and low maturity AI organizations, including length of initiatives, trust, identifying use cases, and more.
