A recent paper "Understanding Nonlinear Collaboration between Human and AI Agents: A Co-design Framework for Creative Design" shares research on how humans and AI can best collaborate for creative outcomes.

“Through AI we are on the cusp of a great era of discovery that could fundamentally change the field of medicine.” But he points to challenges including regulation, pricing restrictions, access to capital, and constraints on clinical trial design.

Elon Musk has said that the recent first human trial using Neuralink’s brain implant has been successful, and the patient can control a mouse with his thoughts. However this is fairly trivial in brain computer interfaces and there are concerns about transparency in its trials.
