“Machines can never replace the human spirit.” — Ada Lovelace
Strategic foresight workshop and AI in learning & education
I’ll be travelling this week to run two full-day workshops on Strategic Foresight as part of a leadership development program. The intention, as always, is to build broader, richer thinking to inform better leadership and decision-making.
In Humans + AI Explorers Community we have launched a new AI in Learning & Education space, it is already active and we will be diving deep. More below in the update on the latest in the community.
Be well!
Ross

💡Framework: Humans + AI Investment Decision-Making
All investment decision-making will be either AI only or Humans + AI. For a long time to come most investment decisions will involve humans, especially larger, longer-term, and strategic decisions. Even outside those domains there will often be superior performance from well-architected Humans + AI decision workflows. This is a very high-level summary, I’ll share more details down the track.
🧠🤖Humans + AI
AI in leadership development
"In a two-way information exchange, AI is fed an organization’s domain-specific knowledge and humans access AI-generated learning resources based on that knowledge. AI systems learn from human inputs, improving over time, while humans gain insights from AI-generated data.”
The rise of AI anxiety

If AI is the defining shift of our time, we need to face a hard truth: too many people are anxious, exhausted, or embarrassed about keeping up with the pace of AI.
Will AI take jobs? Analysis of the latest data by Noah Smith

“The debate over whether AI is taking people’s jobs may or may not last forever. If AI takes a lot of people’s jobs, the debate will end because one side will have clearly won. But if AI doesn’t take a lot of people’s jobs, then the debate will never be resolved, because there will be a bunch of people who will still go around saying that it’s about to take everyone’s job.”
